SAVE THE DATE: Friday, May 22, 2020 The Seniors Ministry is sponsoring a trip to see Esther at Sight & Sound Theatre, Lancaster, PA. Esther is one of the most riveting Bible stories of the Old Testament. The cost is $130.00 which includes transportation, lunch and show. $30 deposit due by November 3, 2019, Final payment is due March 31, 2020. Contacts: Mary Allen, Sandra Payne, Carol Simms. Attention Members: Tithing/Donations statements will mail out by January 31, 2020 to members whose contributions totaled $500 or more. If you contributed less than $500 and desire a statement, complete a Tithing Statement Request Form and place it in “THE BOX” in the vestibule.
ATTENTION MEN: The Men of Faith leaders are conducting a survey to determine the level of interest for hosting a men’s retreat in 2020. If you are interested, add your name to the survey located in the vestibule.
Monday, January 13 & Tuesday, January 14, 7pm Pastor Freddie Davis is the guest preacher at Shiloh Baptist Church Landover for their 20 Night Revival. The Praise Team will sing on Monday, and the Male Chorus will sing on Tuesday. All PRBC members and friends are invited to attend.

Saturday, February 8, 9:30am Dr. Matthew Edwardson, Attending Physician, Medstar Georgetown University Stroke Program: African-Americans have nearly twice the first-time stroke risk and are more likely to die from stroke than Whites. Dr. Edwardson will present on how stroke affects African-Americans. He will discuss ways to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, and the time sensitive nature of receiving stroke treatment. Additionally, Dr. Edwardson will share information on his stroke study with the goal to develop better treatment for stroke in the future and understand the biological changes related to brain recovery.
Saturday, February 8, 3pm Come, join in the celebration at OUR First Lady’s birthday musical and show her how much she’s loved. Special guest artists: the LA Family Singers. You don’t want to miss it! Sponsored by the Pastor’s Aid Ministry. A free will offering will be received.
Friday, February 14, 7pm Marriage Ministry Extravaganza. All married and engage couples are welcomed to attend an evening of dinner and dancing here at PRBC. The cost is $60 per couple. A $30 deposit is due by January 19, and the balance is due February 1. Visit the representatives in the vestibule following Sunday services to sign-up and make payments.
