SAVE THE DATE:  Friday, May 22, 2020 The Seniors Ministry is sponsoring a trip to see Esther at Sight & Sound Theatre, Lancaster, PA.  Esther is one of the most riveting Bible stories of the Old Testament.  The cost is $130.00 which includes transportation, lunch and show.  $30 deposit due by November 3, 2019, Final payment is due March 31, 2020.  Contacts:  Mary Allen, Sandra Payne, Carol Simms. Higher Education Ministry All current and former recipients of a PRBC scholarship are asked to submit a picture of themselves along with the following info: their name, college(s) attended, and degree(s) received.  This information should be submitted to no later than November 15, 2019.

All high school students are asked to complete the High School Students Information Form in the vestibule.

Now – Sunday, December 8CHARITY TREE –  In the spirit of giving, members are asked to select an ornament from the tree and purchase a gift card for $25.00 from Target or Walmart.  We will provide services to men, women, and children from Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.  All gift cards with the receipt attached should be returned by Sunday, December 8.

The DC Public Library wants to make reading with your child fun and easy. The Books from Birth, a program mails all enrolled kids in D.C. a free book each month from birth until they turn five. Parents must register for this program.. Enroll at

Safe-at-Home Program: The District of Columbia Office on Aging (DCOA) and the Department of Housing and Community Development provides in-home preventative adaptations to reduce the risk of falls for qualifying seniors age 60 and above and adults with disabilities (ages 18-59).
